Payara & Azul Java Ecosystem Seminar at the IOD

There’s a lot of change happening in the Java ecosystem at the moment. Java SE is moving to a 6 month release cadence along with major changes to the public updates model of releases and the introduction of LTS for commercial customers only. Java EE is transitioning out of the JCP under Oracle control to the Eclipse Foundation and a new governance and release model under the Jakarta EE working group. What does this mean for organisations dependent on Java technologies for their core business? How do you plan for the Future? Should you invest in Java SE and Java EE going forward?

In this Seminar you will hear directly from people deeply involved in these changes, how these changes will impact your organisation and what you need to do to be ready. Steve and Gil will talk you through the detail of what is happening with both Java SE and Java EE and answer any questions you may have.
